About Jackass Aeropark
Opened as Lathrop Wells Airport, Jackass Aeropark was once a public-use airport with minimum facilities and almost no aircraft operations. Jackass Aeropark lies in Amargosa Valley, in the state of Nevada. The airport was owned by the United States Bureau of Land Management and deactivated by FAA (the Federal Aviation Administration). There was one unpaved runway in poor condition. Monthly, Jackass Aeropark provided up to 50 aircraft operations, including local general aviation, transient general aviation, and military aviation.
