About Alexandria International Airport (AEX, KAEX)

Situated five miles west of the downtown of Alexandria, in Rapides Parish, Louisiana, US, Alexandria International Airport is a public use airport operated and owned by the England Authority. There are two asphalt and concrete paved runways and 49 aircraft based on the field, including helicopters, jet airplanes, multi- and single-engine airplanes. The major aircraft operations are local general aviation, military, commercial, transient general aviation, and air taxi.
