About Fort Worth Alliance Airport
Situated 14 miles north of the Fort Worth downtown, in Tarrant County, Fort Worth Alliance Airport is a public use airport owned by the city of Fort Worth. The airport is the southwest regional hub for a cargo airline FedEx Express – the major Cargo airline. There are two concrete runways and about 27 aircraft based on the field, including helicopters, jet airplanes, multi-engine airplanes, and single engine airplanes. The major aircraft operations include air taxi, commercial, military, transient general aviation, and local general aviation.
