A single Pratt & Whitney turboprop engine powers the Pilatus that provides the aircraft with a higher maximum cruise speed and improved climb performance.

Pilatus cabin can be arranged to fit passenger needs together with cargo area. The aircraft features Honeywell Primus Apex integrated avionics system. The cabin also features an automatic cabin pressure control system, and a dual-zone temperature control system.
